#FollowtheTrophy - Seniors bring the Hardware Home

The MCLA D1 Championship Trophy is slowly making its way back to East Lansing via a motor home carrying six of the Spartan seniors. Sam Robbins, Patrick Donovan, Jess Todd, Hunter Stephans, Jay Warren and Kevin Boland left Salt Lake City Sunday afternoon and have meandered through the West, stopping at historical sites along the way - and the trophy has been with them every step of the way. The iconic symbol of the MCLA's best team has been featured prominently in each photo. Click here for story & photos on MCLA.us

All of us have become so close over the past four years and we planned this trip quite a while ago - we figure it may be our last time together for who knows how long - and we planned to to take the trip win or lose. Obviously having the kind of week we had in Salt Lake City makes this trip even more special - a once in a lifetime memory. Patrick Donovan

Fellow seniors Brett Braun, Bennett Dipzinski and Ben Sims were unable to make the trip due to prior commitments but are checking in with their fellow Spartans who are piloting the RV. You can follow the trophy via the team's Instagram account "@msu_lacrosse". More photos of the journey are here:
