#17 Michigan State's victory over Central Michigan Wednesday night has earned them the #1 seed in the D1 Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association Tournament April 29-30 in Chelsea Michigan. Michigan State will play the #4 seed, Davenport, at 1:00 pm on April 29th. #2 seed Minnesota will play #3 seed Pittsburgh at 4:00 pm that same day. Winners of the semi-final games will battle for the CCLA D1 Championship at noon ET on Sunday, April 30.

Spartans second year head coach Cam Holding: "We are pleased to be undefeated in conference play thus far but the seeding in the D1 conference tournament is not extremely significant this year as all four teams are strong. I think literally anything can happen in the conference tournament. We'll have to play well and defeat two very good teams to win the tournament and earn the bid to the MCLA national tournament."
