Top ranked Michigan State starts their 2019 season strong with wins over Minnesota and CLC rival, Pittsburgh. The completely remodeled defense didn't lose a step from last year, holding both teams under 10 goals. A breakout performance from Keegan Wells(8g,2a) led the offense to two explosive games, outscoring opponents 31-13. Face-off man, Cory Jaeger, scored his first career goal against Pittsburgh and won 33 of 41 draws on the weekend. With big shoes to fill, Jackson White came up with 20 saves in his first starts in net.
