Spartans visit The Hill Academy in Toronto for "Cross Border Clash"
Michigan State will play The Hill Academy in the featured game of the 8th annual "Jammer Classic", a celebration of lacrosse to honor the memory of Jamieson Kuhlmann. The Classic is held annually in Toronto. The Spartans face off at 2:00 pm EDT on Sunday, April 10. The game is considered a scrimmage and will be played under international rules.

Spartan Head Coach Cam Holding invited The Hill's head coach and fellow Canadian, Brodie Merrill, and his team to East Lansing for a scrimmage in October 2015 and the Hill Pride prevailed 12-10.
Holding explained the rationale behind scheduling the scrimmage north of the border: "It's a wonderful opportunity for our team to participate in the Jammer Classic and play against the Hill Academy. Not only are the Hill players tremendously skilled and accomplished lacrosse players but the pageantry of playing in an international game will be a great experience for our players". The Hill Academy made North American lacrosse news in November 2015 as they defeated the USA U19 team 16-11 at a game played at Ohio Stadium in Columbus Ohio.
