Three Spartans named MCLA Scholar Athletes

Three different Michigan State players were named Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) Scholar Athletes for the 2016 season. In order to be eligible for this award, these student-athletes had to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or above and also earn a spot on his respective all-conference list.  MCLA 2016 Scholar Athlete announcement.

#23 Sam Robbins, a defensive midfielder from Petoskey High School (Petoskey, MI). Robbins was also named a second team CCLA All-conference defensive midfielder in 2016.
